Finally, hockey is back! Yes, it's only exhibition hockey, but fans in the State of Hockey can get start to get excited as the first of seven pre-season games start tonight in St. Louis, Missouri.

As per Michael Russo, the Wild's roster for tonight is as follows:

Forwards: Brodziak, DiSalvatore, Gillies, Hilbert, Irmen, Kalus, Kassian, Milroy, Pouliot, Sheppard, Smith, Weller

Defensemen: Falk, Fraser, Hnidy, Noreau, Scandella, Scott, Zanon

Goalies: Khudobin, Hackett


Rumor has it that St. Louis will be using most of their starters tonight. Their roster is as follows:

Forwards: Paul Kariya, Patrik Berglund, Brad Boyes, Andy McDonald, David Backes, David Perron, Chris Porter, Derek Armstrong, Aaron Palushaj, Ryan Reaves, Yan Stastny, Cam Janssen

Defensemen: Erik Johnson, Steve Wagner, Darryl Sydor, Alex Pietrangelo, Brendan Bell, Mike Weaver

Goalies: Chris Mason, Ben Bishop


The new-look Minnesota Wild will get their first major test tonight in St. Louis, especially considering that they are basicaly fielding the Aeros roster against a St. Louis team that features most of their players who have already made the roster. How do you think they will fair?
